Hotfire Hunting & Fishing Safaris

Accommodation

The luxury tented camp adds to the true African safari experience, with all the amenities a person could need. The camp can accommodate up to 7 guests in 3 large safari tents, which are fully furnished and have en-suite bathrooms.

The tents are all fitted, depending on the guests requirements, with either 2 three-quarter beds or a king-size bed with heated blankets. The tents have electric lighting as well as electrical points for most appliances, including heaters for the cold winter months. Transformers are available for your 110v electrical items if required.

Bathrooms have hot showers and waterborne sceptic systems. Hotfire Camp is proud to provide the client with pure, natural handmade soaps from the Tambookie Soap Company.

The lapa (gazebo) is where breakfast and lunch is served. Dinner is served in the dining room or around the fire at the lapa on warmer evenings. Many a great hunting story has been relived in the Hoof and Horn, the bush canteen where cold drinks, beers and fine wines are always available.

As a family business, Hotfire serves home-cooked food from tried-and-tested recipes passed down over generations. An almost self-reliant establishment, the fruit, vegetables and eggs are all home-grown products of the farm; while water comes from the cool, crystal mountain springs and boreholes. (Bottled water is available and we will accommodate special dietary needs on request).

As a family business, Hotfire serves home-cooked food from tried-and-tested recipes passed down over generations. A venison (antelope/buck) dish is our speciality, prepared with the best cuts of fresh meat from the farm butchery.
An almost self-reliant establishment endeavours to serve seasonal fruit, vegetables and eggs that are produced on the farm; while our water comes from mountain springs or our borehole. (Bottled water is available and we will accommodate special dietary needs on request).

Lunches usually include homemade soups, salads and sandwiches with various Hotfire cold meats.
For supper, our hot hearty meals include various specialty venison (antelope/buck) dishes, prepared with the best cuts of fresh meat from the farm butchery.
Hot coffee and a selection of teas are available at all times, while the Hoof & Horn bush canteen provides the chance to wet your whistle with its supply of cool drinks, beers and fine wines.

A River side picnic can be arranged on request.
